Kelly McGoldrick

PERSONAL TRAINER

It's safe to say I've been through a few eras when it comes to fitness. I was a competitive athlete when I was younger, then fell away from it completely in my late teens and early twenties and had to start all over again. I came back through a few spin classes, which led to bootcamps, then finally onto the gym floor to lift some weights. From there I found CrossFit, specialised in it for around 8 years and competed. Along the way I've run half marathons and a marathon, done several Hyrox races and functional fitness events like ATHX and Turf Games, and trained in Olympic weightlifting. Most recently, after a big injury in 2025, I've switched into bodybuilding training, and because that's just who I am, I'm aiming to compete in it over the next couple of years after a photoshoot I prepped for this summer. So whatever your goal is, chances are I've been there. 💛

The main thing I see people struggle with isn't being clueless about training and nutrition, and by the way it's completely fine if you are, we all start somewhere. It's that they have no structure and no accountability. They change their exercises constantly, don't track their progress, then lose motivation when they don't see results. Same with food: eating well for a few weeks, then falling out of routine. I help you build systems and habits that actually fit your life. I'll challenge you to see your potential, but without it feeling like a burden.

Honestly, the reason I came back to fitness in my mid twenties was that my confidence had completely gone. I hated how I looked, and having been so fit when I was younger made that even harder. I showed up to the gym for months as the least fit and weakest person there, acting like the woman I knew I was capable of becoming, long before I looked like her. A few months later my routine was in place, and the strength and confidence started to build. I've repeated that for 10 years now, and I would not be the strong, confident woman I am today without the gym and strength training. I'm certain of it, and I'll always be grateful to that past version of me for being brave enough to take the first step.

When a client finishes a session with me, whether it's a class, a PT session or an online check in, I want them walking away feeling capable. I want you to realise you're stronger than you think, and that with the right support you'll find a routine you can actually stick to that improves your health, fitness and quality of life. You just have to take that first step, and I'll be with you the whole way. 💛

I do this because I genuinely care about people and helping them improve their lives. Life is busy and it's hard, and everyone is carrying something we don't know about. Being able to switch off in the gym for a few hours a week and eating in a way that leaves you fuelled and energised is genuinely life changing, and I want to be that happy place for as many people as I can. You are capable no matter your circumstances. I'm living proof of it.

When I'm not in the gym or preaching strength to anyone who'll listen, I try to live as peacefully as possible. Coffee, the beach, gigs, walks, travel (I'm a total sun worshipper) and time with friends and family are the things that fill my cup. 💛
